Organization

Use a 48x42m area divided into five vertical lanes and three horizontal bands. Eight attackers form two centre-backs, one pivot, four advanced players and a striker against six defenders. Progress through end gates or into a target beyond the last line.

Coaching Points

Pivot stays beneath pressure as the reset option | Four advanced players do not stand on one line | Wingers preserve width while 8s occupy inside lanes | 9 pins the deepest defenders | Shift the whole shape without losing central balance

Progressions

  • Allow defenders to counter through two mini-goals after regain.

Regressions

  • Reduce the defending team to five players and freeze the 9 centrally.
