Organization

Start live 3v3 (3 BLUE vs 3 RED). 1 BLUE + 1 RED wait on the side. After trigger: exactly 1 BLUE and 1 RED enter immediately. Game becomes 4v4. No reset. Original 6 players remain active. Possible triggers: coach signal, regain, pass count, ball enters target half, short timed trigger. After 4v4 action ends, rotate players and restart next wave as 3v3. Each team attacks the opponent mini-goal. No GK.

Coaching Points

Scan the pitch before the trigger arrives so you adapt your spacing the moment the extra player enters. Stay compact during 3v3 and expand instantly when the game becomes 4v4 — don't wait for the ball to dictate your movement. React to the transition faster than the opponent — the team that reorganises first dominates the expanded picture. Use the entering player as a numerical or positional advantage and find them early before defenders adjust. Maintain attacking direction throughout the wave — no tactical reset means the game continues at match speed.
