Organization

4 BLUE vs 4 RED. Each team attacks the target gate at the opponent end. Possession can circulate normally. CRITICAL MOMENT: When a team regains possession: 1) first player secures or drives the ball, 2) teammates immediately expand forward, 3) identify opponent disorganisation, 4) attack target gate quickly, 5) defenders react immediately to stop transition. If quick transition is not possible: team keeps possession and reorganises. No forced long pass. Scoring: 1 point for controlled dribble through opponent target gate. BONUS: 2 points if scored within ~6 seconds after regain. Ball must remain under control. Simply passing/kicking the ball through gate does NOT score.

Coaching Points

Secure the first action after regain — a clean first touch or drive forward sets up the entire transition. Expand forward instantly when possession is won — teammates must offer support ahead of the ball before the opponent recovers. Recognise opponent disorganisation and attack the target gate before the defensive block sets. If the quick transition isn't on, retain possession calmly — don't force a counter that isn't there. React immediately when the ball is lost — the nearest player delays and the team recovers behind the ball.
