Organization

Set a central 1v1 duel zone with one support player outside and one defender protecting two mini-goals 18m away. When the ball is won, the regaining player can bounce the ball off the support player, who joins the action to create a 2v1 toward goal.

Coaching Points

Regain player lifts the head immediately | Support moves before the tackle is complete | Bounce pass should change the angle of attack | Use the 2v1 before the defender can recover support | If the regain is messy, secure first

Progressions

  • Add a recovering defender who can enter after the bounce pass.

Regressions
