Organization

Mark a 26x26m square with a 3x3m target box in each corner. Play 4v4 inside. A player may receive inside a corner box for one touch before returning to the main area. After using a corner, only the opposite corner can score the next point.

Coaching Points

Players away from the ball prepare the diagonal target | Do not force the opposite corner immediately | Use the centre to move pressure | Receiver enters the corner late rather than waiting inside | Maintain width after leaving the target box

Progressions

  • Make corner receptions one touch and add a time limit to reach the opposite corner.

Regressions

  • Allow any different corner to score after the first connection.
