4v4 Score and Defend — Quick Turnaround Transition
A continuous transition game where a team that scores must instantly reorganise to defend a new attack entering from the opposite side.

Organization
Use a 35x25m pitch with mini-goals or goals at both ends. Play 4v4. After a goal, the scoring team stays on and immediately defends against a fresh four-player team entering with a new ball.

Celebrate later—transition immediately | Recover central positions first | Communicate match-ups quickly | New attackers enter at speed | Use the temporary disorganisation after the turnover
Progressions
- Use goalkeepers and full goals or reduce the reset time between attacks.
Regressions
- Give the scoring team three seconds to reorganise before the next attack starts.
