Organization

Play 8v8 or 9v9 in a three-zone pitch. The team in possession may allow one player from the previous line to step into the next zone, creating an overload before progressing.

Recognise where the extra player is needed; Step in at the right moment; Opposite players create width; Find the free player quickly; Recover structure after progression

Progressions

  • Remove fixed zones but keep the step-in principle.

Regressions

  • Use neutral players to make the overload more obvious.
