6v6+2N Positional Play — Find the Pivot Between Lines
A positional game built around recognising and accessing the pivot between lines before connecting forward into the next space.

Organization
Use a 35x30m area divided into three horizontal zones. Play 6v6 with two neutral players acting as pivots between lines. Teams score by finding a neutral between lines and then connecting with a teammate in the next zone.
Coaching Points
Stretch the opposition vertically and horizontally | Pivot checks shoulders constantly | Pass into the pivot when the lane is open | Support underneath and beyond the pivot | Do not force central passes when pressure is closed
Progressions
- Allow defenders to enter the pivot zone after the pass is played.
Regressions
- Make both pivots permanently neutral and increase zone width.
