Organization

Create a central pressure cone or passive defender with a target player starting just outside the defender's line of sight. A passer finds the target, who sets first time to a supporting runner arriving diagonally. The runner plays into the next station and the group rotates.

Coaching Points

Start outside the defender's sight line | Move as the passer looks up | Set at an angle, not straight back | Third player arrives while the first pass travels | Play forward immediately after the bounce

Progressions

  • Add a live defender who can follow the target or jump toward the third player.

Regressions

  • Use a fixed target position and allow two touches for the set pass.
