Organization

Create a central receiving station with two target gates positioned diagonally left and right. The incoming passer serves centrally. The receiver scans, opens toward one gate and then plays through the opposite gate with the appropriate surface.

Coaching Points

Scan both options early | Sell the first direction with hips and eyes | Keep the ball close enough to change decision | Use the correct foot for the reverse pass | Do not over-rotate before contact

Progressions

  • Add a passive defender who reacts to the receiver's body shape and can block one lane.

Regressions

  • Predetermine the fake direction and allow one preparation touch.
