Organization

Set a full corner situation with a goalkeeper, three or four zonal defenders in key spaces and remaining defenders assigned to attackers. Add edge-of-box players for second balls. Restart from both sides.

Coaching Points

Define responsibilities before the kick | Zonal defenders attack the ball aggressively | Markers stay goal-side and touch-tight | Goalkeeper commands the six-yard area | Step out together after the first clearance

Progressions

  • Allow the attacking team to use short corners and late edge-of-box runs.

Regressions

  • Use fixed attacking runs so defenders can rehearse their starting responsibilities.
