Double Striker Split — One Checks Short, One Pins Far Centre-Back

A two-striker attacking exercise that develops complementary movements rather than both forwards attacking the same space. One striker checks toward the ball while the second stays high and away, creating a decision for the defensive line.

Coordinate two strikers so one creates a short connection while the other stretches and pins the far centre-back.

Coaching Points

One striker comes short, the other stays high | Do not make both movements at the same time | Short striker can set or turn | High striker pins the far centre-back | Wide players recognise the space created between defenders
