Organization

Mark a narrow central lane with two outside support gates. A punches a firm pass into B beyond a mannequin or passive defender. B sets or passes sideways to C in an outside gate. C then finds D forward through a new lane.

Coaching Points

First pass should break the line with pace | B prepares the lateral option before receiving | Sideways release moves the point of pressure | C receives facing forward | Do not turn the second action into another risky vertical pass

Progressions

  • Add a recovering defender who can chase the lateral receiver after the first line is broken.

Regressions

  • Use a mannequin and allow B two touches before the lateral release.
