Organization

Use a 25x20 m attacking area with one full goal and goalkeeper. Two attackers receive against two defenders and play live to goal. Restart quickly from the coach after each action.

Coaching Points

Attack defenders rather than passing around them; Create separation before receiving; Use wall passes when defenders step out; Shoot when the lane opens; Follow rebounds

Progressions

  • Add a five-second finishing limit.

Regressions

  • Begin with a 2v1 before progressing to 2v2.
