Two teams of three play inside a rectangular possession area. Two neutral target players are positioned at opposite ends of the pitch. The team in possession uses the neutrals to create superiority and progress from one end to the other. A successful possession sequence is completed when the team connects with one end neutral, keeps possession, progresses through the central area, and connects with the opposite end neutral. After reaching the opposite target, the direction of play immediately reverses. The team without the ball presses and attempts to regain possession.
Scan both directions before receiving. Create passing angles behind and beside pressure. Use the end neutral when forward progression is available. Do not force the forward pass if the lane is closed. Move immediately after passing to create the next connection. Change tempo when progressing through pressure. React quickly when the direction of play reverses.
