Place four possession players on the outside of a square, one neutral centrally and two defenders inside. Award a point when possession connects through the neutral.
Coaching Points
Do not hide behind defenders; scan both shoulders; receive side-on; support the neutral immediately; recognise when to play around versus through.
Progressions
- Limit the neutral to two touches or require a third-man combination.
Regressions
- Use one defender or enlarge the area.
