A defender-focused rondo in which four possession players circulate around the outside while two inside defenders train coordinated pressing and trigger recognition. The first defender presses aggressively when a trigger appears — a poor first touch, a slow pass, or a predictable return — and the second provides cover and protects the inside lane. Develops defensive coordination, pressing-trigger recognition and the ability to regain possession through structured pressure rather than individual chasing.

Four possession players operate around the outside against two defenders inside. Unlike a generic 4v2 Rondo, the PRIMARY coaching objective belongs to the defenders. The first defender presses aggressively when a pressing trigger appears (poor first touch, slow pass, receiver closed toward own side, ball travelling toward a corner, predictable return pass). The second defender provides cover, protects the inside passing lane and adjusts according to the first defender. Defenders score for: interception, forcing ball outside the area, forcing an inaccurate pass. Possession players attempt to retain possession normally.
Recognise the pressing trigger early. Accelerate into pressure rather than arriving passively. Curve the pressing run to remove one passing option. The second defender protects the inside lane. Maintain correct distance between both defenders. React together when the ball changes side.
