Organization

Use one full-size goal with goalkeeper and an attacking area approximately 35x30m. Four attackers start against three defenders. The action begins from a server or midfielder and continues live until a goal, regain or ball out.

Coaching Points

Attack space before passing; Fix one defender to free a teammate; Keep width around the overload; Time the final pass; Finish quickly once the advantage reaches the box

Progressions

  • Add one recovering defender after the first forward pass.

Regressions

  • Begin as 4v2 before introducing the third defender.
