Organization

Set a 22x18m area. Six attackers keep possession against three defenders. Mark two wide target channels. Award a bonus when the ball is switched from one side channel to the other without being intercepted.

Coaching Points

Scan before the receiver is pressed | Play away from pressure early | Use supporting players to bounce the ball across | Keep width on both sides | Change tempo after the switch

Progressions

  • Reduce touches and allow defenders to score in mini-goals after regaining.

Regressions

  • Increase the area and allow unlimited touches.
