Organization

Set up near the touchline in the attacking half. The thrower has two nearby teammates and one deeper support player against two defenders. The pattern begins with a throw to feet, a set pass and a third-man release down the line or inside.

Coaching Points

Create separation before receiving the throw; Set the ball with one touch when possible; Third player moves as the first pass travels; Keep the thrower available after re-entry; Protect against the counter if possession is lost
