Organization

Create a 30x22m pitch with a 4m end zone and mini-goal at each end. Play 4v4 up to 7v7. A player must receive or carry into the end zone before the team can finish in the mini-goal.

Coaching Points

Be patient before penetrating | Create width to open central lanes | Time runs into the end zone | Support the penetrating player | Finish quickly once the end zone is entered

Progressions

  • Limit the finishing player to one touch after entering the end zone.

Regressions

  • Make the end zones larger and allow direct dribble entry.
