Organization

Use a full-size goal with goalkeeper and a wide server. Runner 1 attacks the front-central zone and glances the cross across goal. Runner 2 starts deeper on the far side and attacks the second contact for a finish.

Coaching Points

First runner attacks the ball rather than waiting | Header redirects across goal, not back toward the crosser | Second runner starts late to stay free | Goalkeeper movement should influence finishing surface | Attack the second contact decisively

Progressions

  • Add two live centre-backs who can challenge both contacts.

Regressions

  • Use passive defenders and serve from a fixed crossing position.
