Organization

Use a full-size goal with goalkeeper. Shooter 1 starts in a wide-inside channel and shoots across goal. A coach or target player behind the opposite side returns the live ball into the central lane, where Runner 2 arrives for the second finish while the goalkeeper is resetting.

Coaching Points

First shot forces lateral goalkeeper movement | Second runner holds until the first action starts | Arrive into a different shooting lane | Read whether the goalkeeper has reset | Finish early if the keeper is still travelling

Progressions

  • Add a recovering defender who tracks the second runner.

Regressions

  • Use a coach-fed second ball into a fixed central zone.
