Organization

Create two wide stations and one central support station. Start with a clipped pass from left to right. The wide receiver plays short into the central support, who sets for a second player to switch the ball back toward the opposite wide station. Rotate after each sequence.

Coaching Points

Long pass should arrive on the safe side | Central support moves before the wide touch | Bounce pass changes the angle | Prepare the switch before receiving the set | Maintain different pass speeds

Progressions

  • Add a central defender who can screen the bounce player and force an alternate support angle.

Regressions

  • Reduce the width and allow an extra touch before each long pass.
