Organization

Set three stations in a shallow triangle, 10–14m apart. Player A clips the ball toward B. B adjusts feet and redirects the ball first time with the inside of the foot toward C. C receives on the move and returns through the opposite side.

Coaching Points

Read the flight early | Arrive balanced under the ball | Cushion rather than strike the redirect | Angle the foot toward the third player | Third player moves before the aerial contact is made

Progressions

  • Add a passive screening defender who changes the available redirect angle.

Regressions

  • Allow the middle player one controlling touch before the redirect.
