Organization

Set three staggered stations across a 20x14m area with one cone acting as the pressure reference. Ball travels into the central receiver, who opens toward the inside option before playing with the outside of the foot into the far target lane. Rotate positions after each action.

Coaching Points

Scan before receiving | Sell the inside pass with body shape | Lock the ankle on outside-foot contact | Bend the ball around pressure rather than through it | Move immediately after the release

Progressions

  • Replace the cone with a passive then active defender who can block the obvious passing lane.

Regressions

  • Increase the passing lane width and allow the receiver to set the ball before using the outside-foot pass.
