Cue-led activation where players react to an external signal (visual color, coach hand signal, or partner movement), accelerate explosively over 3–6 meters, then brake under control or change direction. Players work in pairs with frequent role rotation. At least two possible reactions exist at all times. The ball is optional and secondary — the primary stimulus is the external cue triggering reaction, acceleration and braking.
Save time planning sessions with FUTNIVO.
Players work in pairs or small groups. Each pair has a reacting player and a cue/mirror partner who initiates left, right, forward or a designated cue. The reacting player accelerates 3–6 meters, then brakes under control or changes direction into a marked zone. Roles switch frequently. Prefer visual or partner-based cues. At least two possible reactions must exist. Cue timing should vary slightly to avoid predictable sequences. No long lines — no player should wait for multiple repetitions.
Stay light on feet before cue. React to information, not anticipation. First step must be explosive. Push strongly through first 2–3 steps. Lower center of gravity before braking. Control final steps into deceleration. Keep knees and hips aligned. Use short braking steps. Re-accelerate quickly after direction change. Do not cross feet unnecessarily. Maintain posture. Quality before maximum speed. Reset quickly.
