Organization

Use a full-size goal with goalkeeper. The shooter receives centrally 16–20m from goal. A teammate makes a diagonal run across the goalkeeper's visual line but stays clear of the ball. The shooter times a low finish immediately after the runner crosses.

Coaching Points

Runner must not block or foul the goalkeeper | Shooter waits for the visual window | Keep the strike low and early | Do not hit the moving teammate | Follow the shot for rebounds

Progressions

  • Add a defender closing the shooter from one side and allow the goalkeeper to communicate around the screen.

Regressions

  • Use a fixed crossing run and stationary service.
