A passing drill focused on the timing and technical quality of a wall pass (give-and-go) to bypass pressure or a defensive line. The original passer accelerates beyond a pressure reference and receives the return pass in stride — a true A → B → A combination.

Set up a rectangular area with a clear pressure reference (cone gate, mannequin or line) representing the obstacle to beat. Player A starts with the ball, Player B is the wall/support player, Players C/D are continuation/rotation players. A passes into B, immediately accelerates beyond the pressure line, B plays a controlled return pass into A's forward running path, A receives beyond the pressure line and connects with the next player. Players rotate naturally to create repeated wall-pass actions. Use 2 parallel groups of 4 where possible.
Quality and weight of the first pass — play into the correct foot. Explode after releasing the ball and attack space beyond the pressure line. The wall player creates a useful support angle. The lay-off must lead the runner — do not return the ball behind the runner. Time the run and the return pass together. Communicate. Use the appropriate foot. Accelerate after receiving the return. Recognize when the wall pass can beat pressure. Avoid running too early before the first pass is secure.
